Hi All! Guess what? It's time for a new Pinkette release over at Tickled Pink Stamps! I just love these little cuties- they are so easy to work with and an absolute blast to color :) We've got an awesome Easter release and one of the things I love most about Lil Easter Pinkette Daisy August is that she would be perfect for so many types of cards year round, not just springtime. I did something a little different this time around- just got to switch things up every now and then right?- and took what was supposed to be a cardboard frame to use on a scrapbooking page with a picture and instead distressed it with a white ink pad and some white embossing powder, sanded the edges and then backed it with some design paper from Lilybee Designs. Then I mounted that on an A7 white card base and cut the excess card off. Its a much smaller workspace than I'm used to working on but that actually made it really easy to embellish because I filled it up quickly with some of my favorite things like bling, flowers, a charm and a metal ribbon slider that I've seriously had in my stash for an embarrassingly long time. I can already tell the this little August is quickly going to become a favorite of mine so you'll probably see her in the near future :) Please, please, please go and check out the Tickled Pink Stamps blog for more stunning projects from my fellow teamies- I'm always picking my jaw up off the floor when I see all the awesomeness that these ladies create- and leave a comment for a chance to win the adorable Daisy August!

The Little Moments
Hi All! I've got a little Father's Day card to share today. Please excuse the blurry pictures- I'm not really sure what happened but I have a sneaking suspicion that it probably has to do with the fact that I was running late for father's day brunch (of course!) and was trying to take these photo's super fast so I could get on the road as quickly as possible...note to self: don't wait to the last minute to take blog pictures :)
I was lucky enough to win a TON of stamps from the always generous Kellie over at Tickled Pink Stamps and just knew Lil Pinkette Tom Boyz Baseball Pippa would be perfect for my Father's Day card for my dad. I wanted to thank him for all the T-Ball games he sat through cheering me on when I was lazily doing cartwheels in the outfield. And for all the softball games where I always seemed to get hit by the ball at one point or another (seriously-I'm like a magnet!). He was always present for the big and little moments when I was growing up and was seriously my biggest fan....in fact he still is one of my biggest fans! It was so much fun to make a card that celebrates that :) Love you Dad!

Furry Easter Friends
Hi All! I've gotta tell ya I've been busy because my sister and my grandma are going to be coming into town this week! I'm so excited because my grandma's had some health issues and hasn't been able to travel to see us in almost 3 years and now she's not only going to be here but she'll be here for Easter! So, of course, I had to make her a super special Easter card for the occasion. And luckily I was looking at the April release of stamps over at Wee Stamps and came across this absolutely adorable digi image named Easter Bunny. Now, I'm not normally one who does the super sweet images- I like a little bit of an edge most of the time- but sometimes you just need a little 'cute' you know? Plus, I had these amazing new papers from Echo Park that I picked up in a 6x6 pad at my local scrapbooking store (Stampers and Scrappers Delight- hi my lovely ladies!) and the bright colors worked perfectly! I'm so excited to give it to my grandma- I think she'll just love it and the best part for me is I get to give it to her in person!

Oh So Naughty
Hi All! I'd say I've got a sweet little card for you but that would be a lie :) The challenge over at Mo's Challenge blog is Show Me Some Attitude and it's such a fun one because Mo has the best digi stamps that just scream attitude! I'd been browsing through Mo's shop and absolutely fell in love with Two Tasha (grab it here) with her tutu and scrunched up angry face- just makes me want to stamp my foot and say 'You're not the boss of me!' just cause it really can make a girl feel better :) And what goes better with a little girl in a tutu having a temper tantrum than a lot of pink? I imagine it would probably match her little cheeks as she really got ramped up. If only we could get away with this type of emotion at any age!
I'll be entering this card in the following challenges:

A Little Birdy Told Me...
Hi All! It's been a busy weekend but I was soooooo happy to see some sun! I've got another birthday card- lots of those happening over the next couple of months- and took the opportunity to use another digi stamp from Spesch Stamps called Birdy In Love by Sylvia (grab it here). I just love coloring these images with my Copics. I've used the sketch from Friday Sketchers to help me with the layout and found myself using the new My Minds Eye "Hazel" paper pad- love the paper pads because it takes all the guess work out of finding DP that matches!
I remembered to write down my Copics again! Hopefully that will become habit for me :)

Birthday Wishes
Hi All! I've got a quick post of a card I made this weekend but didn't have time to post before. I've always got people requesting birthday cards and they are really so much fun to do because they're so versatile. This card will be going to an ultimate girly girl so I had fun going crazy with the bright colors and lots of jewels. And I've been dying to use this new digi stamp named Wendy that I got from Spesch Designer Stamps (grab it here)- she was soooo much fun to color, which I did with my Copics. I have a feeling she'll be making many more appearances here in blogland :) I hope that this card inspires the same amount of joy and fun to the recipient as it did to me while making it!
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Time To Celebrate!
Hi All! I've got a 'funky' little card to show you! The challenge over at Stamp Something is to do something Funky and that truly was the jumping off point for this card :) First off I've used a Kenny K image named Bling Baby from the new Glam Gang set 2 (grab them here)- it just screamed Funky to me- and I have to admit I own a scary amount of Kenny K digi's but I just can't resist them...I love their urban feel! To keep the urban feel I had some DP paper from Basic Grey in mind, the Wander line, with it's kind of cityscape design and used those more subdues colors throughout- including some of the new lines from My Minds Eye that matched perfectly. For the Kenny K challenge they want there to be something that starts with the letter R on the card so I used my Rectangle Nestabilities to cut my image out and then threw in a couple of Rhinestones as well for good measure. My style is usually a little more bright but I have to say I really do love this card!
Here's a close up of the image that I colored with my Copics- I was a little worried about the hair but it turned out just like I pictured in my head so I'm happy with it!
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
