Welcome to the Tiddly Inks Halloween Blog Hop!  Today, we are celebrating our favorite time of year with a beautiful and fun hop for all of you.  Are you ready to get your Halloween on?   You'll have until November 2nd to hop with us.
There are many blogs along the way and we'd love for you to leave a comment on each blog.  Leaving a comment will make you eligible for a chance to win a most fabulous prize; a $10 gift certificate to anything digital in our store!  The winner will be announced on November 3rd!
Along the way you will see a number of NEW Tiddly images you've never seen before.  It's a bit of a sneak peak as the release isn't until tomorrow.  Make sure to join us back on the Tiddly Inks blog tomorrow for the new release and a chance at winning your choice of THREE of the new digital stamps!!!
For my project I found this super cool wooden casket at Craft Warehouse and painted it black-I knew it would be the perfect match to the two digi's that I wanted to use- Vamp Me and the tombstone from the Vampire Extra Pack!  Then I pulled out some of my favorite Halloween embellishments like cheesecloth and red roses to finish the whole thing off.  I love how it turned out and think I'll put it out in my office as a Halloween decoration :)
I hope you enjoyed my make- have fun on the rest of the hop- I promise you won't be disappointed!  Ready to keep hopping...then get going!

Halloween Hopping with Some Odd Girl

trick-or-treat
Ding Dong!
Glad you decided to come and Trick or Treat with the Odd Girls! You should have arrived from Suzanne’s blog.  If you’ve just stumbled on our hop today, you’ll want to go back to the Some Odd Girl blog to start at the beginning.
Our hop this week is full of spooktacular Halloween Tricks and Treats. Don’t worry, our tricks won’t be too scary! AND, just like trick or treating for candy, you don’t want to skip any houses…or blogs in this case!  In order to win TREATS, you must leave a comment on each of the Design Team blogs.
The trick, or tip, you'll be picking up from me is to do a little looking at reference pictures when you're coloring something new.  I created a whole Pinterest board with Vampire references so I could find something that I loved and that I thought people would instantly recognize.  Speaking of Vampire's- would you get a look at little miss Shy Mae!  Me thinks she can't be called shy anymore- don't you agree?  For a chance at the treats available along the hop leave me a comment with the name you think suits this Mae best now.
The next blog you will Trick or Treat is Isha’s blog.
You can Trick or Treat with us thru midnight EDT on October 31. Winners will be announced Saturday Nov 2 on the Some Odd Girl blog.  Have Fun!!

Hi all!  Yay- it's Friday!!  And to make it even better it's a Fab Friday over at Tiddly Inks- woot woot :)  I decided to go non-Halloween for a change and pulled out Wryn in the Fall to get a little cool weather card action going on.  I colored her up to match some Doodlebug Designs papers and used one of the corrigated cards that I have in my stash.  Then I just threw a few little bits and bobs on there for fun.  I hope that you'll stop on by the TI challenge blog to see the fun that the rest of the crew put together.  And thanks so much for stopping by to visit me today!

Let's Get Chalky!

Hi all!  Just checking in to share a little project I started- making placeholders for Thanksgiving dinner this year.  I wanted to do something fun with the whole chalkboard trend and when I saw these little plaques at Craft Warehouse I couldn't resist.  It took some doing to figure out how to stamp on them but it's a pretty cool technique.  If you like what you see then head on over to the Some Odd Girl blog to check out the full process so you can make some of your very own :)  Thanks for stopping by to visit!

Hi all!  Oh my goodness- I'm so sorry it's been quiet on this little blog of mine lately but I've been hard at work doing a blog redesign!  I'm so happy to share it with you all finally :)  I'm most proud of the fact that I did it all myself- it took some researching and some mistakes along the way but the pay off is definitely getting to share it all with you now!  I hope that everyone will forgive me from my time away and that everyone likes the new digs- if you have any questions on how I did anything or have any suggestions please just let me know.  And stay tuned for more crafty stuff coming your way soon!

Halloween Treats

Hi all!  It's a Fabulous Friday over at Tiddly Inks today and I've got a little treat to share with you :)  I love getting versatility out of my stamps so I was looking for a way to use the clear sets that I have for something Halloween themed- enter the Sweets for My Sweet set from TI.  It's really a summer set but it has these awesome candy stamps that I knew would be perfect for a little Halloween candy holder.  So I colored them up to match some paper from the Doodlebug Designs Halloween paper pad Halloween Parade and I was set!  I grabbed some mummy chocolates at the store that fit in just perfectly and I'm ready to go- now I just have to decide who to give it to :)
I hope that you enjoy- don't forget to stop by the TI Challenge blog to see all the fab creations today...and thanks for stopping by to visit me!

Zombie Gifts

Hi all!  Just popping in to share a fun little gift bag I made with one of the new digi's released over at Some Odd Girl on Tuesday- Zombie Mae!  I love leaving little gifts for friends and family around Halloween and it's so much fun to use the cool images that always come out this time of year to wrap those gifts in style :)  I took a purple gift bag that was plain and used one of my Heidi Swapp stencils and some Distress Ink to make a starry background then added just a touch of Doodlebug patterned paper and a cool tag from Chic Tags.  Add to that a cool looking Zombie image I colored with my Copics and it's a gift bag that you'd never be able to find in a store!  If you like the image be sure to stop by the SOG store and pick it up- it's super fun to play with :)  Thanks so much for stopping by to visit me!

Hello There

Hiya crafty peeps!  I've been dying to share something with you for a while now and it's finally time- I get to spend another term on the Some Odd Girl design team :)  I'm so excited to kick off another six months- the last term was amazing and I can't wait to keep the momentum going!  To get things started there's a new monthly challenge and the team is switching things up a bit by doing more than just sketches this time around; we get to start with something that is definitely quite the trend- Ombre!
This was so much fun- I used some papers that had the ombre effect and also used my Copics to color and ombre look to the little frame around my image which is Mae from the Fall Friends clear set.
I've been spending a lot of time looking at scrapbooking layouts lately on Instagram and Pinterest so I decided to try making my card like a little layout.  I have to admit I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out and I got to use some new things on it like the cork elements and one of my new tags from Chic Tags to carry the triangle look throughout.  I'm not sure I'm ready for a huge layout just yet but I can see why people fall in love with doing them :)
Thanks so much for stopping by to visit me- I hope you'll pop on over to the Some Odd Girl blog to meet the rest of the team and see their first projects.  And don't be shy to join right in with us- you have all month and we'd love to see what you create!

Sorry peeps- I colored this so long ago I've started a new notebook and can't find the old one with the markers I used!   But they are bright ones cause this is colored on kraft :)

Supplies: Cardstock- Bazzil; DP- MME Flair; Wood Banner- Basic Grey; Cork Stickers- Studio Calico; Chipboard Heart- Pink Paislee; Triangle Tag- Chic Tags; Enamel Dots- MME; Washi Tape- my stash
