It's Fall!

Hi all!  It's going to be a busy day on my blog today so lets kick things off in style with a new challenge over at Tiddly Inks and it's one I know everyone love- Anything Goes!  I did something a little different this time around since I could do anything I wanted (teehee) and decided to use the accent stamps from the clear set Bewitching instead of the character.  Now this is NOT something I normally do because I love to color my characters but I'm always trying to switch things up and do something different.  It was a little harder for me to photograph so I only have the one pic that survived :)
I don't know- jury's still out for me on whether I like them or not- they are a little plain jane I think- what are your thoughts?  Thanks for stopping by to visit- I'll be back soon with some more inspiration and some exciting news!

Joyful Celebration

Hi all!  It's a fabulous Friday which makes me oh so happy because the weekends almost here!  But there's another reason to be happy because it's also a Fab Friday over at Tiddly Inks so there's some amazing inspiration happening there.  My make for this week is a wedding card that was commissioned by a friend that I used to work with who always keeps me in mind when she needs a special card- which I love :)  I have so much fun doing wedding cards because they get to be simple and elegant and a standby TI image that I often pull out is You and Me.  Its so pretty and I think really captures the beauty of a wedding- plus it's an excellent way to customize the bride and groom which is always an unexpected surprise.  I hope that you enjoy my card- please don't forget to stop on by the TI challenge blog to get an eye full of some more awesome creations!  Thanks for stopping by to visit :)

Mad Scientist

Hiya crafty peeps!  Just popping to share with you a new little make that I did with one of the new digi release images from Some Odd Girl this week Mad Scientist Tobie :)  I totally love him- he kinda reminds me of Dr. Horrible- which makes him super cool in my book!  And I figured he was a perfect image to practice coloring some glow with my Copics- I was totally intimidated but for my first time I think it came out pretty good. I hope you enjoy this little card and if you want some more awesome inspiration don't forget to stop by the SOG blog.  As always thanks so much for stopping in to visit me!

Fairwell Friend

Hi all!  It's another fabulous Tuesday and this week brings a new challenge over at Tiddly Inks- how about showing us some Goodbye cards?  I wanted to do something really soft and pretty and figured Druscilla was the perfect image to make that happen :)  I got advice from some peeps on Instagram for what color to do her hair- amazingly all the colors were suggested!- so I still had to make a decision and decided to go with the early votes which were for blonde.  Then I paired her with some Glitz paper I just picked up with birthday money from my LSS, and a few other fun things like some sequins, to finish the card out.
I hope that you'll pop on by the challenge blog to see the other awesome projects by the DT.  And it's super easy to play along if you want- just follow the theme and use a TI image :)  Thanks so much for stopping by to visit me- ya'll are the best!

If the Broom Fits...

Hi all!  I don't know about you but I'm super happy it's Friday...and not just because it's the weekend- although that does garner some major points :)- but because it's Fab Friday over at Tiddly Inks!  Since this Friday also happens to be the 13th we thought we'd go for a spooky type of feel- don't know how well I achieved that here but I think Betty Belfrey could be kinda spooky if she wanted to be :)  I whipped up a fun clean and simple design on this that I actually kind of love in the end!  Plus a fun little sentiment that I just typed up on my computer- love to do little play on words around Halloween- there are so many fun things you can come up with.
I hope that you'll stop on by the blog to see the other spooky creations that the team came up with- there's some totally drool worthy stuff there so you don't want to miss it.  I hope that you enjoy my card- thanks so much for stopping by to visit me :)

Happy Halloween

Hi everyone!  Sorry for being a little MIA lately- I took some time off of work last week to celebrate my birthday and I decided to also take a break from online if I could :)  But it's a fantastic Tuesday today which means there's a new digi release at Some Odd Girl and I just had to be a part of it!  We're starting to show off some awesome Halloween images and this is Vampiress- so much fun right?  I had a blast coloring her with my Copics and then went pretty simple with the card using a felt die cut from Making Memories and sentiment from Tiddly Inks.  Hope you like it and please stop by the blog for some projects using the new clear release from this month and the rest of the DT's blogs for some more digi eye candy or better yet the store to pick it up for yourself :)  Thanks for visiting me!!

Hiya crafty peeps!  I hope that everyone had a fabulous long weekend if you're here in the states :)  Today marks another new challenge over at Tiddly Inks and it's a super easy one this time- Saying Thank You.  We all know how essential thank you cards are so I'm happy to make some for stand by when I have time.  I wanted to try something a little different this time around and do pretty much a white on white (I cheated and made the card base dark blue but creative license right?)...the white seemed pretty stark so I added some dimension by embossing it.  I hope that you'll join us and play along- it's super easy just use a TI image :)  And thanks for stopping by to visit me!

Smile On

Hi all!  It's a fabulous first day of the month here and that means there's a new sketch challenge over at Some Odd Girl!  I won't drag it out- here's what we're working with this month:

Awesomesauce right?  And I stayed a little more true to the sketch this time around and only flipped it around some :) I used some bright colors with Cheers Kaylee so I didn't go too crazy with the patterned paper which felt a little strange so I did some doodling with my white gel pen to bring some detail to the plain background.  And I had a heck of a time getting that bow just right but patience won out in the end!

Thanks for stopping by to visit me!  I hope you'll pop on by the Some Odd Girl blog to see the other fab creations that the Oddies came up with.  And if you want to play along its super easy peasy- just use and SOG image and use the sketch :)  Hope everyone has a great day!
