Sisters

Hiya crafty peeps!  It's a new Tuesday which means a new digi release over at Some Odd Girl :)  Today we've got Nurse Kaylee- shes perfect in so many ways for me because I actually work at a hospital but I decided to do something a little different than the norm with her this time around.  My sister has been feeling a little (or a lot) under the weather lately so I made a little cough drop care package and figured Nurse Kaylee was the perfect little addition.  I know that we have lots of nurse SOG fans so I hope she becomes a favorite for many :)  If you'd like to grab her for yourself pop on over to the store- and don't forget to check out the blog for many other awesome projects!  Thanks for stopping by today!

Caveman Explorer

Hiya crafty peeps!  Things are hopping over at Some Odd Girl today as we are smack in the middle of a new clear release- but it's also a Tuesday which means there are some new digi's too!  Today I'm showing off little Caveman Tobie...omg, is he not just the cutest thing?!?  I don't normally do boys cards but when I saw him I just knew I had to work with him :)  I paired him withe some Bo Bunny papers and a pretty cool wooden arrow that I won from a Freckled Fawn Instagram giveaway.  It's part of their March Oh Deer Me kit- if you haven't checked those out you seriously must!

Butterfly Birthday

Hiya crafty peeps!  Its another brand new Tuesday, which means there's some brand new digi images available over at Some Odd Girl!  Today I get to show you Butterfly Friend Fairy- I'm not sure you can tell but I LOVE Kristy's fairies :)  I did a circle card this time around- it's good for me to get out of my 'square shape' rut every now and then- know what I mean?  I just threw a piece of patterned paper and some embellishments on to compliment my image and doodled a little design around the edge of the card.  Now Butterfly Friend Fairy isn't the only new digi so pop on over to the SOG blog to get a peek at what else is new and you can grab them for yourself from the shop!  And did you know that Some Odd Girl is currently having a DT call?  If you love the images take the plunge and throw your hat in the ring- it's a fantastic team to be a part of!  As always, I hope you like my little make and thanks so much for stopping by to visit me :)

It's a Fairy Good Day

Hi all!  Guess what?  It's a 'fairy' good day over at Some Odd Girl because there's a new digi release!  Bet you've probably already figured out that it's a couple of new fairy images and let me just say, they are so stinkin' cute!  First off I'd like to share Daffodil Fairy- if you like coloring flowers then she is going to be a quick favorite for sure :)  I kept things pretty simple and used a white card base with half of a gold foil doily (which you can find in the SOG shop), a strip of patterned paper and a little sentiment flag:

Then comes Daydream Fairy- I just love the little mushroom she's leaning on!  I paired her up with a little strip of patterned paper on a card base from Archivers.  Then I tossed on some Twinery twine with a button and heart doily from my February Swag Bag from Paper Issues:

Love Letter

Formal Wishes

Hiya crafty peeps!  Just popping in to remind you that it's Tuesday which means a new digi release over at Some Odd Girl!  Let me introduce Formal Mae- isn't she pretty?  The best part is that you can easily use her for so many types of cards...I needed a birthday card so I went the clean and simple route by using a Spellbinders die for the card base and then including a stamped sentiment from the Birthday Mae clear set and one of the gorgeous gold foil doilies that are also in the SOG shop.  If you like Formal Mae you can pick her up now in the shop- and don't forget to also check out the SOG blog for links to some more amazing inspiration from the DT using the new digi's :)  Thanks for stopping by to visit! 

Ribbons & Star Lily's

Hiya crafty peeps!  How's it going?  As you can see it's quite the busy day today on this little blog of mine, lol :)  I'm back to share with you the new digi release that's happening over at Some Odd Girl today!  These are a couple of truly beautiful images so it was a lot of fun to color them up...

First up is Ribbon- it's just a gorgeous image and I feel like I can practically smell that big flower!  I kept the card fairly simple with just one patterned paper and some washi tape for the background.  If you love that gold doily that Ribbon is sitting on you must go check them out in the SOG store- they are super cheap and unlike anything I've worked with before but I'm in love, lol!

Then we have Star Lily- gorgeous no?  I wanted to take her in a different direction so I used on of the corrugated cardboard card bases I got at Michaels.  I love this image so much I'm already thinking about what I can do on the next card I make with her- some sort of flower child kinda feeling I think :)

For a Super Woman

Hiya crafty peeps!  Its Tuesday which means that there's a new digi release over at Some Odd Girl and this image is perfect for those Super Women in your lives- meet Super Mae!  I loved coloring her up in the traditional Super Girl colors with my Copics.  I ended up keeping this card pretty clean and simple- mostly because I couldn't find the right paper in my stash for what I was thinking in my head :)  But the crowning piece for me was the sentiment!  I picked this stamp up at a garage sale about 5 years ago and have no idea what company it's from but this baby has made it through craft purges and moves because I always find myself reaching for it!  I hope you love Super Mae as much as I do- don't forget to pop on over to the store if you want to grab her for yourself.  Thanks so much for stopping by to visit my little space in blogland!

Fall Fun
