Hi All! For those in the US I hope that you've had a wonderful Thanksgiving :) I had a fabulous day filled with family, excellent food and lots of loud laughter- there really is nothing better! I'd like to share a project that has kind of become a tradition between me and one of my dad's. You see, he used to decorate for every holiday and Thanksgiving was no exception, but my sister and I always gave him a hard time because the decorations weren't the 'cute' kind but more along the lines of 'realistic' and I think we can all agree- real turkeys are not the
prettiest animals :) So I started making him cards that he could put out as decoration that could counter balance those decorations that we made fun of. It's a fun little tradition and I have such a blast making pretty little things for him to display. This year I made a sign featuring one of the new Saturated Canary images called
Princess Harvest and I have to say, I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out! And he must have felt the same because the instant he got it he hung it on the door for all to see :) The fun traditions that my family and I have for the holidays just remind me again and again of all the things I'm so thankful for- a close and loving family, having the security of a roof over my head and food in my cupboards and getting to share the things I love with those around me. Thanks for stopping by to visit- I'm also so thankful for this wonderful blogging community that I feel blessed to be a part of!
