Paper Perfection
Hiya crafty peeps! Guess what? It's a big week over at Some Odd Girl as we have not only new clear stamp releases but some other super huge reveals- like a brand new 6x6 paper pad and new embellishments! I pretty much totally geeked out when I heard there was going to be a Some Odd Girl paper line called Sunshine Sorbet- I mean my girl Kristy has some mad skills and awesome taste so I couldn't wait to get my hands on some. Let me tell you- I was not disappointed in the least! I wanted to show off as much as I could so I ended up using a small square die and doing sort of a patchwork background. Once I got it all put together I liked it so much I didn't want to cover it up so I ended up just using a simple sentiment and a few of the new sequins and wood hexagon embellishments also being release. Now make sure you don't miss out on anything by hopping on over to the Some Odd Girl Blog for some more inspiration. If you're already drooling for some paper goodness then just pop on over to the shop to grab some for yourself- the quality is amazing!
Thanks for stopping by to visit- make sure you check back in tomorrow for some more reveals :)

Celebrate Together
Hiya crafty peeps! Well today is the last day of the new clear release over at Some Odd Girl and it's finishing strong with this beautiful image called First Dance Mae! I have so enjoyed working with these new images- they are gorgeous and just come to life when you color them. They are definitely going to be in my 'most used' rotation very soon :) I kept this card pretty simple- I tend to do that because it always lends a certain elegance to them- and used one of the sentiments from the set as well. I hope that you'll stop on by the SOG blog for some more eye candy using this set and a chance to comment and win one of your very own! Thanks for stopping by to visit me :)

And I know that everyone is probably knee deep in holiday projects but time seems to go by in a flash so it's never too soon to look ahead...that's what we're doing with this release as we look towards February and Valentines Day :) The first set we're showcasing is called Threshold Mae- isn't it beautiful? I had so much fun coloring this up cause I love when there are two images in one without me having to do any work, lol! I paired up some Carta Bella papers with a Pink Paislee frame then keep things kinda clean and simple. I hope that you'll pop on over to the SOG blog to see the other fabulous samples- and if you leave a comment you might even win a little something :) Thanks so much for stopping by- see you again real soon!

these fabulous sets will be in clear and all will be in digital form, so
you have a huge variety to choose from.
The team is celebrating with a hop. Make sure to hit up every blog on the way to see examples of ALL the new releases. Leave a comment on each blog and you will be eligible for some fun prizes.

CST) so you have plenty of time to comment and visit each blog. You'll
also get to meet all of our new team members!
For my card, I chose to use the Wicked Birthday set- isn't it fabulous? I just love how Christy can make a little 'creepy' as she calls them as cute as her cuties! I have so many girlfriends who LOVE skulls so I'm always on the look out for some fab images that feature them and I could not get over this Wicked Birthday set- it's perfect :)

For my card I colored up this fab image with my Copics and paired her with some fun Pink Paislee Halloween papers- I love this green color and it seemed to fit perfectly with the whole idea of the card I had in my head. A few of my fav bits and bobs later my card was complete! The following is the hop list that each member has on her blog. Make sure to go in order so you don't miss anyone and have a fabulous time!

Deer Friends and Santa's Helpers
**For Tiddly Inks Challenge Post please scroll down**
Hiya all! Told you it was going to be a busy one today :) It's day two of the clear release reveal over at Some Odd Girl and I'm sharing with you a darling little image called Holideer. My all time favorite thing about this set is that Kristy made it so versatile by including a sentiment that works with this little cutie for so much more than just holiday themed projects! I hope that you fall in love with him just like I have- he is definitely one of my other favorites from this release (although I think I say that about them all, lol). You must pop on by the SOG blog to see the other creations made by the DT featuring not only this little guy but another image as well!
But wait! That's not all that's happening over at Some Odd Girl- I know it's hard to believe that Kristy can really do all this but she also put together some digi's for this week- I know right? Crazy stuff! And she stuck a little nagging thought in my head when we first saw these images- she mentioned how cool it would be to merge them...so of course I had to do that :) So here I have for you Santa's Helper Tobie and Santa's List Tia. They were a whole lot of work to color up so the card is pretty simple but I think they would've stolen the show anyway. I hope you like them as well- make sure you pop on over to the SOG store to get a look at all the new goodness we've been throwin' out at ya- I promise you won't be disappointed! And, as always, thanks so much for stopping by to visit me :)

Missing You
Hi all! Well, as promised I'm back with another cutie from this month's clear stamp release over at Some Odd Girl. I have to say, this is one of my favorite releases to date- the image's are just so pretty and super versatile which is always a plus in my book :) Today we're featuring Miss You Mae- isn't she just gorgeous?!? I colored her up with my Copics to match some of my favorite papers right now- the MME Find Your Wings and Fly collection- and made a shaped card with some of my dies. These shaped cards are still kinda tricky because I'm used to doing squares but it's a good challenge to get me out of my comfort zone :)
I hope that you'll pop on over to the SOG blog to check out the rest of the amazing projects that the rest of the team put together- there's some serious talent in the group of ladies! And don't forget about the monthly sketch challenge that's currently going- it's tons of fun and there's still plenty of time to join in :) Thanks for stopping by to pay me a visit!!

Dare to be Unique
Hi all! Can you believe it's the beginning of a new week already? Is it just me or do the weekends disappear in a flash? Well, I got some major non-crafty things done this weekend- cleaned out my closets and drawers of all clothes that no longer fit (I've been getting healthier and its starting to show!) and took them to donate. Then tried to find a few cute things to replace my now mostly empty closet :) Had a fabulous Father's Day- my sister and I treated the dad's to dinner on us and it was full of good food and lots of laughter.
I did have some time for crafting though and it's a good thing because CHA is coming quickly and I'm going to be there this year with Some Odd Girl- yay!!! But before that happens there are still a ton of fun things going on at SOG- one of which is a new clear release this week. I'm pretty sure you're going to love them; I know I sure do! To start off we're revealing Dare To Be Gwen- you might remember I had a sneak peek of her all the way back in April- but now she's finally here. I absolutely love coloring her up and she's perfect for just about any type of card. Because of that I left this particular one without a sentiment so that I can customize it once I know what it will be used for.
I hope that you like my card- make sure to hop on over to the SOG blog to see some more amazing creations featuring Dare To Be Gwen by my fellow teamies :) And keep a look out because I'll be back Wednesday with a look at one of the other awesome images being released! Thanks for stopping by!
