Today Is the Day

Hiya crafty peeps!  Coming at you today with something a little different- one of the digi releases over at Some Odd Girl today is a Mantra Sentiment Pack and it's honestly one of the releases I've been the most excited about :)  I absolutely love the watercolor and brushed sentiment look but I just haven't found the time to try and play around with it yet.  But this sentiment pack from SOG makes it super easy to give it a try so I just couldn't resist.  All I did was take some watercolor paper and alcohol inks- both my Copic refills and some Ranger inks- and started playing until I got the desired watercolor look I wanted.  It's amazing how quickly the time flies once you start playing and there's no real rule book with how to do this so it's just having some fun playing with some inks!  Once those dried I simply ran them through my printer and printed the sentiment right onto the card.  I used a word document and just made a rectangle the same size as my card and then ran a test piece of paper through to make sure the placement was right before doing the final print.  Seriously, these are the fastest and most fun cards- perfect for if you're in a pinch and need something quick and easy!  I just love these sentiments and can't wait to use them on a card with some of my Some Odd Girl images- I just know they will look amazing :)
Don't forget to stop by the blog for some inspiration from the rest of the team, and then pop on over to the shop to grab these babies up for yourself!  As always, thanks so much for stopping by to visit me today!

Love the effect you have achieved just by using colour mediums. The sentiments look fab.
Could you tell me how you add the buttons at the top of your page ie, Blogger, email, you tube etc. Looks so much neater to have them all in one place.
Enjoy the rest of your week.
Hugs Sharon. x
