Hi All! It may be a little bit late- because like a total dork I forgot to take a picture before I gave it to her- but I've got a Mother's Day card to share! I love when I find images of two girls together because I always know I can color them up to match me and my sister for a truly unique card for those in my family. Plus, in this case I used one of the adorable Wryn images from Tiddly Inks named Wryn and Emmy-BFF, which is perfect since I consider my sister one of my very best friends in the whole wide world! I colored this cute image with my Copics to match some papers from the MME Miss Caroline line called All Dolled Up and kept things fairly simple since I ended up putting it together kinda quickly :) And to top it all off this card was even more fun to do than any other because it was the first complete card, start to finish, that I've done in my new craft room- let me tell you, it was so nice to have everything I needed at my finger tips! I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did making it!

A Very Special Craft Room
Hi All! Boy, I feel like lately I always start my posts with an apology for not being a good blogger! But I've had some great things happening in my personal life lately which has kept me a little busy and a lot temporarily disorganized, lol. This is probably going to be a pretty picture heavy post (although not any cards just yet) so hopefully you'll make it to the end :)
First amazing thing that happened is that I was able to attend the Standard and Intermediate Copic Certification classes in Seattle taught by Lori Craig and Sherrie Siemens- can I just say 'WOW!'...I learned so much and met some wonderful people...I can't wait to try some more daring techniques and push myself to use all this new knowledge :)
Second thing that happened recently is I moved- yippee! The moving process itself is not my favorite with all the packing and unpacking of boxes before you feel like you're really home but there was some huge motivation keeping me going- I now have my very own craft room!!! I'm telling ya, I can hardly believe it...I seriously just stop sometimes in the doorway and smile :) Which brings me to the pictures part of this post- I'm pretty sure that my craft stuff will never again be this clean and organized so I thought I'd give ya a little tour of my new space- it's not totally complete yet- I've got some more stuff to hang on the walls and might even paint a bit to get some bright colors in there- but I just couldn't wait one more second to share!
First, for some comparison, this is where I was working- in my bedroom...
And the oasis that I have now :)
I got this awesome dining room table off of Craigslist for a steal- I love all the workspace and it easily holds my 12x12 paper cutter and scoreboard.

Plenty of room at the desk now- although it won't take long to be covered with so much stuff that I barely have room to work, lol :)
I purchased the shelving at Target and got a kitchen cart from a discount store to hold my printers so they can both be out at all times.
To insert some color I picked up these woven baskets at Michaels and some glass colored pails from Craft Warehouse on clearance. I also grabbed this new die storage case and magnatic sheets by ArtBin- I've been trying to find a really good way to store my metal dies and this fits the bill perfectly.
Then to top it all off I applied a vinyl saying to the wall above the shelving that seems to be fitting for this little room of mine...
If you made it through the whole post I hope that you enjoyed my little tour! Now that all the boxes are unpacked and things feel like home I can't wait to get into my new craft room and make a total mess and get back to the crafting and blogging that I love!

It's a Tiddly Inks Anniversary!
Hi All! Well, a little while ago I got the most wonderful email from Christy Croll, the amazing owner and illustrator of Tiddly Inks, and Melissa, her DT coordinator, asking if I would like to participate in the Tiddly Inks 2 Year Anniversary celebration as a special guest- let me tell you I could not reply fast enough with a loud and excited 'Yes!' :) It's so exciting for me to participate as a Tiddly Inks image was the first digital stamp I ever purchased and their challenge was the first I ever entered when I started my blog...so Tiddly Inks holds a special place in my heart for sure. We were given the theme- Frame the Moment- and allowed to pick an image to work with...I looked and looked through the shop trying to narrow down my choices and finally settled on the gorgeous image called 'You and Me' (I'm totally not embarrassed to admit that the others on my list still found their way into my cart along the way, lol). I colored my image with Copics, of course, and then put together a soft and somewhat simple wedding card which then, to go along with the theme, was framed as a keepsake. I hope you enjoy my project and don't forget to stop by the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog to continue the celebration with the other amazing guests- it's been a jaw dropping month already so I can't wait to see what else is in store :) Happy Anniversary Christy! Here's wishing you many more!

ABC's & 123's
Hi All! Time for a look at another School Pinkette image from the new release over at Tickled Pink Stamps- I'd like to introduce Kira! Is she not the cutest? I love the pencils tucked in her hair and those adorable socks! Of course she was a blast to color- especially all that hair...wish I had hair like that :) I paired her with some paper from Fancy Pants called Off to School and added some letter tags that have been in my stash forever and some number stickers. I didn't do much else because the paper already had a lot going on and I didn't want it to be too busy. I hope you like School Pinkette Kira as much as I do- make sure to head on over to the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to check out the other stunning creations done by my fellow teamies...and don't forget to leave a comment when you're there for a chance to win a Kira of your very own :)

Ideas
Hi All! So this is really a post for the new School Days Pinkette Release over at Tickled Pink Stamps but I'm thinking you're probably wondering where the heck I've been right? So I figure I'll tackle that first and then get to the fun stuff :) I know I've casually mentioned that the hospital where I work is under going a full computer system change over- well, we go live on Monday and the road has been a little bumpy- like 15 hours of overtime a week for the last month or so while we converted some 30,000 appointments for our department into the new system bumpy! Thankfully that's now complete and we are actually making the change- this next week should be interesting to say the least but I'm so looking forward to being able to have my life back again and to be back coloring and making cards- you can't believe how much I've missed it- and missed all of you!
So without further ado here's the project that's helping me get back into the swing of things! I feel like I say this every time we have a Pinkette release but I really do love these stamps! They are an absolute blast to color and are so versatile- whenever I see the new images for the first time I can instantly envision how I want to use them. This School Days release is so much fun and this little gal Chloe is one of my absolute favorites! I love the cute little bob haircut and sweet school girl uniform- I mean how can you not just want to color her up right? I decided to do something a little different this time- I've used one of those large wooden clothes pins and covered it with some plaid paper from We R Memory Keepers to match her skirt; added some ribbon from Pebbles and a safety pin from Tim Holtz that says 'Ideas' on it and finished it off with some flowers to balance it out. I envisioned using this as a little photo holder with a first day of school picture sticking out the top of it- I actually found an old photo of one of my first days of school, backpack and all, but the photo was so old and dark that I couldn't get it to turn out in any of the pictures that I took. Oh well, guess I'll just have to put you to work using those amazing creative minds of yours to picture what it could hold :) Thank you so much for stopping by and seeing me after my absence- I hope to never have to be away for so long ever again, lol! I also hope that you love little School Days Chloe as much as I do- please stop by over at the Tickled Pink Stamps blog to check out all the other AH-MA-ZING creations done by my fellow teamies and don't forget to leave a comment there for a chance to win this little cutie!

Adore
Hi All! Guess what? It's time for a new Pinkette release over at Tickled Pink Stamps! I just love these little cuties- they are so easy to work with and an absolute blast to color :) We've got an awesome Easter release and one of the things I love most about Lil Easter Pinkette Daisy August is that she would be perfect for so many types of cards year round, not just springtime. I did something a little different this time around- just got to switch things up every now and then right?- and took what was supposed to be a cardboard frame to use on a scrapbooking page with a picture and instead distressed it with a white ink pad and some white embossing powder, sanded the edges and then backed it with some design paper from Lilybee Designs. Then I mounted that on an A7 white card base and cut the excess card off. Its a much smaller workspace than I'm used to working on but that actually made it really easy to embellish because I filled it up quickly with some of my favorite things like bling, flowers, a charm and a metal ribbon slider that I've seriously had in my stash for an embarrassingly long time. I can already tell the this little August is quickly going to become a favorite of mine so you'll probably see her in the near future :) Please, please, please go and check out the Tickled Pink Stamps blog for more stunning projects from my fellow teamies- I'm always picking my jaw up off the floor when I see all the awesomeness that these ladies create- and leave a comment for a chance to win the adorable Daisy August!

Under the Sea
Hi All! I'm trying to be better about carving out time to do blog posts amid my still crazy schedule :) I swear when I started blogging I had no idea how much time can actually go into doing a post, lol...but, as with all things, practice has made me a little faster- now if I could just stop being such a blabber mouth when I type I think that would reduce the time I spend by a considerable amount! But I wouldn't hold your breath on that one :) Today I've got a simple but cute little card for one of my very good friends' daughters birthday. When she emailed me to ask me to put one together she was thinking something along the lines of sea creatures and I instantly thought of Kenny K images and this totally gorgeous girly fish that I've looked at before- it seemed perfect- and to make it even better when I went through the store I also found a little friend for her with this adorable killer whale. I colored them up with my Copics and paired them with some bright and cheerful birthday paper and a little bling- because what's a girly birthday card without bling? When I delivered the card my friend said it was perfect- I hope her daughter feels the same...all in all I'd say a happy customer is a job well done :)
When I went to grab my little notebook where I write down the Copics I use when I color an image I realized that I hadn't written anything down for these! My bad! Hope you'll forgive me :)
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
4 Crafty Chicks- Double Down- 2 Images, 2 DP's
PaperPlay Challenges- Critters
Supplies: Card- Truly Yours (Archivers); DP- Imaginisce Animal Crackers Pixie Sticks; Bling- Recollections; Ribbon- my stash

Outta This World
Hi all! I'm just popping in with a quick post to let you know it's time for a new challenge over at Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge :) This week we'd like to see your Shaped Cards. I decided to do a circle card which isn't going too far out of the box but its one of my favorite shapes to work on so I was excited to bust one out. I used one of the new images from the release over at Tickled Pink Stamps called Lil Futuristic Willow- and let me tell you, she was an absolute blast to color up! I paired her up with some gears and a sentiment that I did on the computer to complete the futuristic type look. I hope you enjoy and that you'll join us over at the Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge this week and show off your shaped cards- just remember to use a Tickled Pink Stamp on your creation!

Hope You Have a 'Wicked' Birthday
Hi All! Boy, it's been a little while huh? My life's been kind of interesting of late...things are still crazy at work with my schedule being so all over the place sometimes I'm not sure if I'm coming or going! And I think my body decided it needed to take matters into its own hands so then I got one of the worst colds I've had in a long time which actually forced me to slow down a bit. But now I'm on the mend and trying to find some time for me in the midst of all my commitments :)
Enough life talk, what do you say we get to a card?!? I'm dying to share this one with you as it incorporates some of my very favorite things! First I used a Saturated Canary image called Elphie because the card was for my mom's birthday and since we both LOVE the broadway show Wicked I knew I wanted to do something along those lines for her :) I paired my adorable image, that I colored up with my trusty Copics, with some Graphic 45 Wizard of Oz paper and an awesome Tim Holtz die cut that I got in a piece of 'happy mail' from one of my favorite blogging buddies Eulanda- thanks girlfriend! After some finishing touches of bling (of course) and some twine I was dying to give this to my mom- and I'm happy to share that she loved it as much as I hoped she would :)
