Fintastic

Hi all!  Is anyone else as excited as I am that it's almost the weekend?  I had some plans that fell through and as disappointed as I am that they did I'm also happy to find myself with a free Saturday :)  I'm sure I'll end up doing something boring like getting groceries but it's nice all the same!  I'm popping in tonight to share two of the new digi's that were released at Some Odd Girl this week and they are so fun...I'm really loving the background images that Kristy has released- they give so much variety to showcase the images.  Here's a peek at Sea Song Mae and the Reef Background- they go perfect together no?  I flipped Mae (one of my favorite things about digi's!) and then merged her with the Reef background stamp in Word.  It's super easy and there just so happens to be a tutorial by moi over at Some Odd Girl if you're not quite sure how to go about it :)  I hope you'll pop on over to the store to see all that was released this week- there's clear stamps, digi's and even some cut files so something for everyone- and best of all is there's a sale going on!  As always, thank you so much for stopping by to visit- your comments seriously make my day!!

Let Your Hair Down

Hiya peeps!  Just stopping by to share a little make that I did for our new challenge over in the Some Odd Girl Community this week.  It's a super fun one if you love to color cause it's all about the hair!  So whether you do something totally funky or fun with an interesting color choice or choose to use an image that's focus is the hair (I mean Rapunzel couldn't be any more perfect right?) just pull out those SOG images, get to coloring and creating and come play along.  You do have to be a member of our fun little ning community but no worries, it's super easy to register- so I hope I see some of you there!  And thanks as always for popping in to pay me a visit :)

Hi all!  Whew- it's a busy day here in blogland :)  But I'm SUPER excited to be sharing one of the new digital stamps being released today over at Some Odd Girl!  Her name is Rani and isn't she just gorgeous?!?  I could not wait to get my Copics on her and have some fun coloring- I was not disappointed my friends :)  After she was all colored and set to go I thought I'd try something a little different for this card. 
I've been slightly obsessed with Alice's blog Alice's {Little} Wonderland- I've been pinning cards like crazy for inspiration on the awesome style that she has.  So I thought I'd just take a deep breath and give it a go- and for my first attempt I'm pretty happy with it.  It helps that I found a box of these awesome corrugated cardboard cards at Michael's this weekend- they are so different from my usual style that it let me break out of my mold a little :)  So waddya think- hot or not?  Either way I'm definitely happy that this lets my image take centerstage because she's just too pretty to not be front and center! 
I sure do hope that you'll pop on by the Some Odd Girl blog so you can catch up with some other members of the DT who have some fab projects to share as well.  And last, but certainly not least, stop by the SOG store to see all the images released today and maybe pick one or two up for your very own :)
