Some Odd Girl Trick or Treat Hop

We’d like to welcome you to Some Odd Girl‘s 2nd annual Trick or Treat Halloween Hop! 

Thank you so much for joining us!  All of the Odd Girls have concocted a creepy little creation to inspire you today, and you’re invited to visit each blog to see what’s been brewing!   You might have arrived from Melissa’s blog – if so, you’re on the right track!  If not, you’ll want to CLICK HERE to get things started, because you won’t want to miss a thing!

We’ll be sharing some of these pretties are the Some Odd Girl blog over the next few days, but TODAY, we kick things off!  So you might be wondering what this Trick or Treat stuff is all about, yeah?  Well, in addition to amazing papercrafty goodness you’ll see at each stop, you’ll get tricks along the way, too!  Simple tips and tricks to little secrets we papercrafters have figured out that we want to share with you!  That covers the Tricks.

And then there are TREATS! 

As you hop, you’ll come across some Treats, located at random Odd Girls‘ blogs.  We have some clear stamps, some Odds & Ends, some digi stamps and lots and lots of inspiration for you!  AND, as if that wasn’t exciting already, we have a discount code for you! 

Now for my little make for the hop- I love giving little goodie bags and boxes so that's what I created here using an oldie-but-a-goodie digi image called Pumpkins!  My little trick is that if you're printing a digi directly onto a card base or project like I did here first print it on a regular piece of printer paper.  Then just attach your base on top of the printer paper with some removable adhesive or washi tape- you'll get the perfect alignment every time :)

Lil Bandit

Hiya crafty peeps!  Another Tuesday means another digi release over at Some Odd Girl and I'm sticking with my Halloween goodies to show off Bandit Wizard!  Isn't he the cutest?  I struggled with this one because he would also be perfect for a birthday card if you used a sentiment about it being magical- but my love of Halloween won out so that's what I ended up going with.  But I can already see he's going to get a lot of use in my craft room :)

Halloween Treats

Hiya crafty peeps!  I don't know about you but I LOVE Halloween and I can't wait to get my hands on all the new Halloween digi's that come out this time of year.  Well, Kristy over at Some Odd Girl does not disappoint- just check out this new Lion Tobie...he's the cutest right?!?  I had to take the opportunity to make a little treat bag for a special someone and had a blast coloring this little dude on Kraft paper.

Strut Your Stuff

Hiya crafty peeps!  Welcome to day two of the new clear release over at Some Odd Girl!  Did you guess what it is based on my little clue yesterday- something dog gone cute?  That's right, it's a dogs life today and we're celebrating with Walking the Dog Piper!  I am in LOVE with the sentiments in this set- I mean, come on, Strut Your Stuff?  Yes, please :)  We had some fun during the Some Odd Girl Facebook Release Party too talking about what this little guys name could be- what do you think it is?

Hiya crafty peeps!  It's an exciting week over at Some Odd Girl as we're bringing you the new clear release!  If you love animals, have lots of pets, or know people that fit that bill then this is going to be a great one for you- to kick things off let me present Cat Lady Kaylee!  Now I can honestly say I have quite a few people in my life that this image would be perfect for- it's going to get a lot of use in my craft room for sure :)  And see that paw print and heart paper?  I'm going give myself a little pat on the back because I made it myself with the accent stamps from the set- I LOVE when you can do that!
