Memoirs

Hi all- Happy Tuesday!  And guess what kind of Tuesday it is...a Tiddly Tuesday :)  That's right- there's a brand new challenge over at Tiddly Inks and this go around we want to see you use inspiration from characters in either books or movies.  How fun is that?  Well, I'm definitely a lover of both books and movies so it's always hard to narrow it down...to help I popped over to the Tiddly Inks store and just starting going through some of the images to see what stood out at me.  And, as luck would have it, this gorgeous image, Chi, caught my eye.  As soon as I saw it all I could think was Memoirs of a Geisha- which just happens to be a book and a movie (do you think I get some sort of bonus for being an overachiever?  lol)I tried something a little different on this card too- this is my first venture into using all digi papers, and I did some paper piecing for the first time.  I was pulling out all the stops on this one :)  But I have to admit, it's definitely a new favorite!  As always, thank you so much for stopping by this little blog of mine to see what's going on.  I hope that you'll pop on over to the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog as well to take a look at the other fabulous creations that the rest of the DT made- they are a seriously talented bunch of ladies!  And maybe you'll even feel tempted to join in- don't resist it, just grab a Tiddly image and come play with us!!

Absolutely gorgeous! I love how stark white her face looks - so true to the geishas. I didn't read Memoirs of a Geisha, but I did watch the fabulous movie. I really think you pulled it off my dear - so beautiful!
